My barrel and hop got stuck

So i got a new tightbotre barrel and stuck the hop on with my old hop rubber by accident, so i wanted to take it off to put the new ohop rubber on and put a h-hop in it, but it wont come off, ive tried putting i in the fridge and pulling yanking very hard and have attempted to twist it but failedtwisting, it still wont come off,

any help would be appreciated thanks

oops yeh its a jg m4 with retractable stock, the slidey one,
the barrel is a systema 6.04 and its the standard hop that comes with it.

make sure the hop is off fully , take C clip off and then twist left and right by about 2-3 mil pulling it out very slow

i have never had a barrel and hop fail come apart before

I have had thing problem with an AK hop unit before, again JG. I solved it by clamping the barrel in a soft wood clamp, and then slowly pulling/twisting the hop chamber off.

ooo, thanks keeper of secrets ill probably try that later, and another thing, you know where u put the c clamp thing on is there meant to be any rubber there or just barrel as there is rubber where it is meant to be at the moment, and wudnt putting it in a clamp squash the barrel slightly,

There shouldn't be any rubber there at all, if there is you haven't got the rubber in far enough. I find, if it's tight, best to ease it in and then pull it out a bit to realign ithe rubber with the barrel again, then ease it in a bit more, then out, etc.


Yes, that entire paragragh is a bit dodgy. I did notice that.

hmm ok i will probably put it in a clamp or a vice or something, but when the hop rubber is on and i put the actual hop up unit over it it pulls the rubber along with it further along the barrel
