Spring ringing/vibrating
4 April, 2011, 21:50
Hi guys, I put a hurricane tune up kit in my ca p90.
Turned out I couldn't use the hurricane spring. It was too long it seemed and seized up the piston towards the end of the cycle.
Anyway, I dropped the original spring back in and there is a real ring or vibration after each shot and it really is quite annoying not to mention unstealthy!
I have an idea it could be the spring rattling on the spring guide or something along those lines.
Does anyone have any cure or experience with this at all? Would the best bet to get a different spring or just deal with it?!
Thanks a lot.

Put them in an empty room, chuck a few dynatecs in there with them.
And then just spray them with a vulcan, that'll teach them how to behave..

Re: Spring ringing/vibrating
It's a CA thing sadly, the springs are a bit short, so getting a new spring will be the only definite fix. Only other thing you can try is to smear the spring in grease which helps, but as you can imagine, ain't the best fix in the world...

Re: Spring ringing/vibrating
Squeeze some thick silicone grease around the end of the spring and spring guide. That will sort it out.
