Re: stripping an M4
Cheers robin unfortunately that wasn't very helpful for information on removing the outer barrel.
my gun is in bits at the moment but i can't get the delta ring of my KA casv-m, Do i need to remove the serrated barrel nut in order to get off the delta ring or does the delta ring come off first?
If so is there any way to remove the nut with out shelling out for the armourer's tool ?

A plumbers wrench (the type with the plastic coated grips for use on plastic pipe) will do the trick perfectly.
Most DIY shops will have one.
