ICS L85 A2 Greabox Electrical Connections

I just go me a ICS L85 A2.
I opened it up to adjust the main spring and both Electrical connection broke off. I was a little angry to say the least.
So my Fix I took about 3 inches of electrical cable and soldered one end of each on to where the broken connections and the Tie wrapped them in place to the gearbox body. Put new Spade connections on the other end. Problem of Fragile gearbox connections and too short cables fixed in one now when I open up the ICS L85 A2 to adjust the main spring I dont have to dis-connect the gearbox no more.
