M14 socom

I have a CYMA m14 socom and under the flash hider there is no 14mm threads for a silencer, yet i see alot of people with silencers on there m14's. is there a specail adapter i need to get if so where can i get one.

Most flashiders on m14s unscrew on a little wheel just behnd the back of the flashider.

I have a TM Socom, which should be the same affair as the CYMA and the flashider just comes off after undoing the little grub screw in the side revealing the end of the barrel with the threads on. Is that not the case with yours? If so can you take any pictures to help explain better?

when i undo the little grub screw the flash hider simply slides off. its doesnt unwind revealing a 14mm thread like its supposed to?

In that case, that's just how it;s designed. You can prbabaly buy an adapter for it

or buy an AGM outer barrel they have the thread on them and should be cheap as chips
