hot motor, warm mosfet and wire

hey guys
my scar is shooting pretty nice but every time i pop off a couple of mags my pistol grip gets really warm and my mosfet unit( airfet)
just wondering why is it doing this
im using a 7.4 2100 mah 25 battery- element ultra torque
getting around 22 rps

Things usually heat up if something is causing the battery to over discharge.
OR repeated semi with an AB fet can do it. As the fet shorts the motor to stop it.

Might be an over tight motor putting strain on the system
Could be a wiring fault somewhere causing the same, maybe a loose motor connector
Could be a number of things, has it just started happening?
