  • Fine tuning a Magpul Masada

So, I've got the variable hop up issue that the majoity of PTS Masadas seem to have. It's been ok but not as good as my G&P Sentry. I've decided to send it to the good folk at Zero One for the hop modification.

While it's there, there's the opportunity to consider a tightbore, and other mods. At the moment, it's box stock.

So, any of you guys have any input on mods you've done or had done?

Mosfet. That micro-switch ain't really designed for the sort of currents that an aeg deals with. Other than that, the world's your oyster. Be aware though that there are certain parts which are completely proprietary on the Masada, e.g. the air nozzle.

You will never in a million years fit 16awg wire in there for a fet. Maybe 18 at a push.

They work really nicely with a decent torque motor in them.
