M4A1 RIS upgrades and help

hey guys im using my new gun for the first time on sunday

im spending 60 quid on upgrades..

this is what i was thinking of getting..:

tight bore barrel

m100 spring (as the fps is low on all TMs)

and thats all i got so far.. also what should i do with the battery? at the moment its in the peq box which is DEFINATELY not staying, hate the damn thing : /

what would you suggest?.


get rid of the ris and put it in the foregrip?
or maybe get a full stock?

remember i have only got 60 quid to spend

what would you do?

Leave it in the PEQ box for now until u can afford a crane stock and get that and rewire the gearbox to the rear.

Tightbore barrels are awesome upgrades. Improve range, fps and accuracy/groupings without putting any extra strain on other parts.

Just reopening this thread, as I have TM M4 RIS. I dont mind the PEQ box too much, although my girly left wrist did last skirmish.

I am though querying which tight bore barrels to use for TM M4? I read about varying sizes, but what makes and sizes do what, in peoples' opinion and experience?

I can get a 9.6v 1100mah battery in the front grip of my M4A1. I really don't see the point of having anything bigger, as it's really quick to change and lasts the day anyway.

I've put a tightbore in mine, and an air seal hop up, but wish I'd fitted a longer barrel as I find I'm being out ranged too often. Since fitting the tightbore, I've put a silencer on it and could have got at least another 100mm of barrel in there.
