Re: Disassemble of classic army m15a2
Ok guys
Step 1.
Split the uppers and lowers in two, and take out the hop and the wiring if it is front wired.
Step 2.
Remove the handguards
Step 3.
If your Gun has a gas tube, remove it by taking the front sight of by the two pins in the bottom, it should then slide off the barrel. Then pull the gas tube out of the reciver
Step 4.
Using either a Armourers wrench or on some models simply your hands, twist the delta ring till the holes all align and let it come off/loose
Step 5.
making sure none of the delta ring is attached to the body simply pull the outer barrel from the body.
You have now removed the barrel from upper reciever, to re-attach simply do the above steps in reverse.
To remove the Gearbox (I.E fit a metal lower):
Step 1.
Unscrew stock or buffer tube from body
Step 2.
Take off the motor plate (dont take off the big screw in the middle, the ones around it)
Step 3
. Disconnect Motor and take it out
Step 4.
Unscrew Pistol grip from body
Step 5.
Remove the magazine catch (either by alan key, screw driver or simply twisting)
Step 6
. Remove the pin infront of the fire selector.
Step 7.
Remove Gearbox from Gun
There you go dude, hope this helps!

Also, remember take your time and take breaks! Don't rush it and you'll probally have a gun put back together better than from the factory!
