Re: airseal's problem
To test the gearbox airseal, undo your gearbox, and then take out the piston, and cylinder, along with both heads. Put your finger tighter over the cylinder head nozzle, and push the piston in, keeping it straight. You should encounter large resistance, enough to force you to stop pushing almost instantly. If not, massage both O rings, and if neccacery replace. To lose 70fps though, it'll have to be a CRAP airseal.
If it;s not that, then it's your hopup chamber or plastic nozzle.

Re: airseal's problem
i did replace the hop-up unit with a G&P but that seems to fit nice and tight
i have used TPFE tape to stop any leaks on the hop-up
i will take the gearbox apart tonight have a look

Re: airseal's problem
if your using a tight bore, give it a good clean as if its dirty and your air seal is bad, this will drop your FPS and eventualy jam your gun.

Re: airseal's problem
its a stardard barrel i think the FPS should still be around the 320 but only getting 250-270 max's
1j should give a 320fps
