Re: Lipo + crane stock? help!
Sorry to go sort off topic a little but do you think that the lipo stock tubes are worth it?
Ive got a spare G&G stock tube but all the lipos ive found are slighty too long for it to fit in there nicely or they are like 800mah which i would probably have to change at least 3 times during the day.
If i can avoid buying the lipo stock tube then it would be better as id save about £40/50

Yes, why wouldn't they be. I used to run my fighting cat on the 11.1's.
You just need a few of them...lol. Obviously with their size they are going to be lower powered than the more usual shape/ size Lipo's but they do offer you to use the gun with the stocks where a smallish tube is the only option.

Doesnt matter now, just had a brain wave and looked at my King Arms stock tube and it looks like a stock pipe design to fit a lipo in as its longer and larger diameter so ill swap the two ive got :D

Re: Lipo + crane stock? help!
All this info is very helpful, but can any of you put up the measurements of the batteries used so when I switch to LIPO in the very near future, I can pick the right size battery without having to work it out or measure it, links to the ones you already have would be fantastic in a PM format..
Thanks

Might help if we knew what stock you was putting it in?
Also, willing to make modifications?

If I know what size the batteries that fit in the stock tubes mentioned, I would be able to determine which one will fit mine. Most battery websites advertise the sizes of the battery, but you guys have actually used them. Most of them would be G&P stocktubes, I have 6 on a rack that need lipo switch over and then 2 ICS.. All M4's
