Hand Guard Twisting 1-2mm Each Way...

Hand Guard Twisting 1-2mm Each Way...
Hi,
I have finally got my M4 project up and running, I have almost everything I need apart from the G17 Grip and an Elcan... To the point (sorry, just a little excited)...
I have just got everything today, including the base rifle, a G&G M4 (GR16 Carbine).
Everything is solid and I am very pleased with it, except for the hand guard, it seems to twist slightly, a few mm side to side (no wobble, just twist).
Can anyone tell me how I'd get rid of or at least reduce this?
Thanks very much,
Alex (mj23lj)

It does have a gas tube. I'm thinking of wrapping the gas tube with a little electrical tape as the hand guard does sit on and around it.
Thanks for the reply mate

Some of them are just wobbly mate. I know it sounds harsh, but some just don't fit right. Try tightening every screw, and also the delta ring, and as you said, gaffa tape. If you really wan't to go overboard, superglue is alwas an option.

It isn't wobbly though, it just twists a little, the Delta ring is solid as a rock. It seems to be the plate on the front side of the hand guard that seems to be a little shakey/loose.
What is that and is there a special way to tighten it up?
Thanks,
Alex

A screw on the rear-facing face. Screws it into the fron sight.

Alright, well that's the problem, that screw does not exist on a G&G M4, lol.
I'm thinking of making some kind of spacer... I'm not sure...
Anyway, thanks for the help guys.
Alex

That bit you could glue on. Just watch out for the white marks that glue comes with when dry.

FAir enough. Try making a spacer as you said, or take it apart and rebuild it.

You're going to hate me, but I've botch jobbed it. A few layers of foam and electrical tape did it! lol... Being honest if you're very close you can see it, but I'm not too bothered.
I'll be working on that spacer in the mean time.
Thanks,
Alex
