longer barrel = different cylinder?
1 August, 2009, 23:51
hi guys im just about finished on my g36AG conversion.
but im putting in a longer inner barrel 500mm i think i read somewhere that if you have a longer barrel you need a cylinder with a smaller or no hole?
anyone got any experiance of this-any help would be apreciated.
cheers rich

Re: longer barrel = different cylinder?
Yes, you will need a non ported (Type 0 or A) cylinder to retain muzzle energy effiency with the longer barrel.
It works vice versa, a non ported cylinder paired with a short barrel would be less efficient with common bb weights.
