Short stroking is not used by itself to give instant speed increases. It is part of a system of upgrades that allows you to run higher rof gear boxes.
So the obvious next step for you is to correct AOE. Then stick a man sized battery in there and see what happens.
I can't do anything other than guess at the rof though. TM EG1000 are not really my thing. Unless there is a 14.8 dangling from it...lol.

AOE is corrected, its short stroked by 2,
on a 10.8v i can get 27per sec on a madbull v2 300fps 0.20g
edit, dont worry mark, ill be ordering of 'someone' next week lol
