ICS M4 with fireworks ares mosfet getting very hot
27 June, 2011, 15:06
hi all, i bought this mosfet and installed it, it all works fine. I had to have the motor wires run along the outside of the gun due to not having enough space inside, after about 400 rounds, the pistol grip and wires going to the motor get very hot, i know they do warm up, but this gets silly, and i dont know why, could anyone help me out?

alright t***
lol, i had the same problem with my scar, turns out it was the motor...it couldn't handle the ab mosfet because of the quick stop/start..it creates a lil spark some motors cant handle it ...i changed mine out for a better motor and everything was fine.

I thought about that, but in my m4 pistol it has a mosfet and it doesn't get that hot, I could get an element high speed

with i scar i noticed the spark got bigger with a 11.1 than a 7.4v so it could be the battery as well...if your using 2 differernt batts?
i would recommend a g&P m120.., cause the motor i had a problem with was a element..
