  • Replacing a plastic TM bodt for a metal body

    My mate's has a TM M16 with a cracked upper and want's to replace it with a complete metal body.

    Which other brand's will fit as he's after getting a secong hand one?

    if its TM, 99.9% of metal bodys should fit

        Not sure tbh,ill ask him tonight

        Would an ics m4 body be ok? I know you cant fit other makes of hop up to them so will his tm hop up fit?

          ics bodys are longer than standard aeg bodys by nearly 1/2 inch

            Think you would have problems with the body and certainly the hop unit.

              Yeah I would steer clear of ICS parts on non ICS guns.

              If he does have a 2 piece hop unit, Id thoroughly recommend getting a standard body, and a 1 piece hop to go with it

                He doesnt know which hop up he has,spotted this on the bay of e,will everything fit?
