SL-9 barrel length

My brother is getting a Star SL-9 conversion kit (for his G36C). We're going to be upgrading everything in it. What's the best length barrel and diameter for it? I was thinking a MadBull 6.03.

The stock barrel length for the Star SL9 is 495mm if that helps. IIRC at the end of the outer barrel on the inside it is is tapered so that the stock barrel is kept aligned, if the conversion kit is the same you might need to bore out the hole a little so that you can get a longer barrel in there (509mm).
