  • Feeding Issues

On my G&G GR-16 AEG I find it shoots perfectly well on Semi Auto, but on Full Auto it skips a few shots and some are much slower than 330FPS (like 200 FPS)

Is this to do with the Mag or the Gun?

    Thanks

        Re: Feeding Issues

I'd not say it was normal, really if everything is working as it should be each and every shot will be the same as one before.

How often is it not feeding the shots? Borrow some mags you know feed fine, see if problem persists.

No problems holding by the mag...

It does wobble a bit, If it was more secure would it feed correctly?

What do you estimate the ROF when dry firing?

run some araldite in the spine of the magwel and shape it with the mag, so the mag sits tight.

Is there a tutorial for this Anywhere?

I put Tape round the Mag and Its fine. Feed great but the Tapes annoying me.

Maybe If I get Mid-cap Mags the Feeding wont be a problem?

                      Thanks

Yes higer ROF guns can have pre-engagement issues which can cause the issues you described above, namely inconsistant velocities when firing fully auto.

When the sector gear completes its cycle and attempts to pull the piston back while it is (piston) still going forward. This could be causing the FPS inconsistancies when firing fully auto.

What voltage and Mah battery are you using on the rifle?
