ICS M16 A3 Spring

hey,

I decided to upgrade the spring in my M16 to a m100, took the uppper gearbox out (it is the split design) broke it all down, and then i couldnt detach the old spring from the piston. Am i just being a numpty, and how can i detach the old spring.

Grip the piston head tightly and unscrew it, the Base block should come out along with the spring.
For installing the new spring, the aftermarket springs don't have hooks, put the base back in the piston body without the spring, and screw the piston head back on, remember to use threadlock.
