If it is, its like the SCAR that I own. The hop unit is fixed to the gearbox. To change the nub inside the hop chamber, you only need to be able to get at the cogs and retaining pins on the side of the hop unit. Removing these will give you access to the adjustment "arm" which has the nub on the end. Taking that out will allow you to replace the rubber, and put it back again, replacing the cogs and pins. On the scar, the gearbox is accessible just left in the lower receiver, not sure if this is the case on the tavor or not (I couldnt find a decent video for an actual breakdown)

To physically open the hop unit, you would have to open the gearbox to release the hop unit. Shouldnt need to though.

Short answer, dont.
There are some good videos on youtube just have to dig a bit to find them if you want to go ahead anyway! Beautiful aegs just a nightmare to work on lol!
