Broken gearbox cover on CA AUG.

Hi guys.

Somehow I seemed to have snaped the top quarter of the rear gearbox plate (the plastic plate that holds the gearbox in behind the battery). This as you can imagen is having an effect on the firing, bbs are basically just rolling out the barrel.

I'm having difficulty finding a replacement. I tried the Classic Army website, ebay and on here, but no luck.

Has anyone else had this happen or can you point me in the right direction please?

Hi Andy,

I know which bit you mean- I've found it hard to find spares for the AUG tbh.

I think you'd be better off placing a 'wanted' ad here mate, you might find something.

Try looking for tm replacement parts as they should be more sourceable.

Would TM parts fit Classic Army guns?

should, as the body sizes arent going to be drastically different, its the internals you want to watch out for, but yer, in this case they will.

All fixed now and shooting perfectly. :D



It's basically a metal plate with two screws in and some hefty glue, but it does the job nicely.

Thanks, I'm very happy with it.
I can't take the credit for it though, as it was done by Mark at an unnameable shop in Croydon.
