intresting gear box problem

intresting gear box problem

i have a ca gearbox with hitorque gears works fine when you connect the battery for about 2-300 rounds then when on semi pull the trigger and its like its only half cycling then pull trigger again and it fires im using a 8.4 `1500 firefox
would a 9.6 make that much a diff

What spring are you pulling? Motor?

then when u leave it for a while its fine then 2-300 more rounds it does the same motor overheating

There might be a short in the system somewhere? Does the motor get really hot then? Or you might have a damaged battery, how long does the charge on it last? It might be excessively draining for some reason leading to over heating

the motor gets hot, just tried my fecked 9.6 on it and worked ok just the pistol grip gets hot

Check shimming and or Motor height/pinion to bevel alignment?
Is the Motor burned out?
Are wires shorting on receiver or mechbox case?
Higher ratio gears should in no way struggle to pull a 1J spring, heck its hardly stronger than a stock marui spring.
