Chargers and Dean Connectors

hi there I switched my gun over to deans but have a standard tamiya connector charger. To charge the dean connector batteries do I just need to buy a tamiya to deans connector convertor like so:

Re: Chargers and Dean Connectors
Gues so unless you are using Lipos then you use the mini connectors they haveo n the battery to charge them.
Or... you can make your own adapter if you got the pieces

Re: Chargers and Dean Connectors
Any gun i have had is more than happy with a 7v lipo battery.
You may want to remove the fuse though.
Fitted lipos to about 5 different AEG's of varying ages from days old to years old and all was fine with a 7v lipo.
It's when you get to 11v lipos or higher you want to most definately fit a mosfet (mosfets lower the voltage to the trigger contacts prolonging the life amongst doing other magical things to your AEG).

Yep, I've used lipos for about three years now and I've stuck to the 7.4v ones with zero problems. I wouldn't dream of using an 11.1v in any of my guns unless I had some form of MOSFET to protect them.
