CA MP5k lower receiver issues
29 August, 2011, 19:28
I just got myself a CA MP5k. I bought it as I have a galaxy MP5k that is slowly becoming un-usable due to the upper receiver.
Now, being a lefty, I can't fire right handed at all. I want to put the Galaxy stock onto the CA, but cannot get it to fit, no matter how much I file away at it!
Has anybody done this before, and if so, what was it that needed to go for it to fit?!

Re: CA MP5k lower receiver issues
I've got the remains of a Galaxy MP5PDW stock on my CA uppered, Galaxy lowered MP5KSD.
It took some doing but it did go on after an hour or 2 of triming bits off the upper, lower and stock hinge.
I can take some photos if you like but it doesn't show much, you just have to keep test fitting it and take a bit off.
The main issue was the length of the prongs on the stock hinge weren't long enough so the holes for the 2 pins that attach it didn't line up. For this I had to take a mm or so off the back of the upper and lower to make the distance shorter.
Best of luck though mate.
