every single element piston I've used has shredded/broken after <1000 rnd.
Never broken and shs blue, and tm's are very resilient.

As I've said before, SHS Blue. I swear by them, and I know midas was running one in his dsg box, which says a lot (over 60rps)

Re: Ics piston advice
Pretty sure Z1 do an ICS branded aluminium one - should have no compatability probs-just a straight swop.

It will fit, but i strongly advise against. Aluminium Pistons are
terrible
, they are cast and very brittle, the back end will fail in no time.
A direct Marui replacement will be more reliable. SHS as is Supercore an overkill, you really won't need a piston like that to cope with common spring/cycle rate.

That isn't putting undue stress on anything.

Re: Ics piston advice
ICS guns (non-UK spec) come in stock with an m120 spring in. 345fps is a piece of piss for them

Re: Ics piston advice
Since we are going with colours! I have fitted all of these in ICS guns, some on a weekly basis. The SRC does excellently and I strongly suspect it is identical to the SHS Green.
TM White.
ICS Black.
Element Duracon Orange. (Favorite piston)
SHS Green.
SHS Blue.
SRC Green.

Re: Ics piston advice
The Element Duracon is one of the most reliable and compatible pistons I use. I have them in many of my guns as well as those I service and tune. There are a couple of P90's running in the High 30's as well as DMR's with 450fps that I have put this piston in with no issues whatsoever.
I also maintain a fleet of over 40 ICS hire guns and find the SRC and SHS green pistons to be perfect for these often abused guns and in six months have yet to have one let go.
As long as you stay away from Aluminium, Systema and those generic bone coloured D-Boys made-of-mush pistons you should be OK.
