Is an Ares M14 compatible internally with a TM M14?
7 September, 2011, 22:16
I have an Ares M14 EBR, and want to upgrade it, but finding it hard to find tune up kits for M14s.
Ive found one a Guarder SP120 Tune up kit for 96 quid which I think is reasonably priced. However, the site says it is ONLY for the TM M14. Personally I cant see why it wouldnt work in the Ares M14 considering they both use Version 7 gearbox's. Can anyone give me a reason why it wont work?

They may be made to different specs
The ares might have proprietary gears, which they often do.

Well this tune up kit comes with some guarder high speed gears, so does that mean I have nothing to worry about?
