Feeding Issue
8 September, 2011, 19:08
Having a bit of a feeding issue with one of my M4's - G&G body and a right mix of parts although I believe it has the original G&G hop unit.
PTS mag feeds utterly perfect, however all my other mags (mixture again, dboys etc) will only feed perfectly if I apply pressure from the rear of the mag.
Any ideas how I can fix that? The usual tape around the mag doesnt help

Re: Feeding Issue
New mags, or maybe add tape to the back of the mags so it's like they're always being pushed forwards?
If you taped the back of the magwell, the PTS mag might not fit

Re: Feeding Issue
If they metal mags, you can try bending the part where the catch clips in out a fraction. Makes for a better grip in the magwell.

Re: Feeding Issue
Thanks guys - I'll have a gander. Luckily they are metal mags so might try that.
EDIT: happened to have some strips of sticky-back foam padding which was the exact width - solved the problem perfectly and the PTS mag still fits; if a little tight!
