Dboys metal M4 CASV feeding problem.

Hey there

I have a problem with my m4 in the fact that it won't feed anything unless it's a magpul PTs mag
(expensive taste!!)
Lately I acquired some green label 50rnd mags and they wouldn't feed, unless I held them in. I phoned some techies and they said to "shim" the mags. ( insert a half inch slither of metal in the mag catch hole, causing it to ride higher and finally feed..... Apparently.)
I did this still to no avail.
Any help from the wise ones of zeroin?
