Fuse removal for Mauri G36C?
23 September, 2009, 11:59
Hi guys, I have a Mauri G36C and I want to install a large handguard so that I can fit in a 8.4V large battery or a 9.6V large battery.
My only concern is that will the increase in voltage and current due to higher voltage battery blow up the original fuse?

Re: Fuse removal for Mauri G36C??
My fuse went within about 30mins of putting in a 9.6v battery. Just bypassed it and ran fine for months. Eventually put back the 8.4v as the ROF was stupid with the MOSFET & GP120 Motor. Must be 9 months now without fuse, and no problems yet!

ah i can see you helping me out here as well jag, what fuse rating would you recommend for running on a 9.6v with mosfet & capacitor bank, not sure if those make any difference though, but cheers anyways.
running on a guarder sp110 as well, should probably mention that.

The stock Marui setup should not pop a fuse with a 9.6v.
What battery are you using? Make, capacity etc..? (ells)
