Re: advice on tightbore barrels??
They can give a few fps increase and increase accuracy in terms of grouping.

Re: advice on tightbore barrels??
I think it depends on the quality of the barrel. Can't comment on that many, but putting in Prometheus barrels into many of my teams guns has always had pretty good results over the standard barrel

Upgrade the hop rubber and bucking. You'll be taking the hop unit apart to put in the barrel anyway so you may as well.

Re: advice on tightbore barrels??
I always use madbull 6.03 barrels if i decide to upgrade my guns and the best and biggest increase i have seen was in a CA gun where i installed a tightbore barrel of the same lenght as the original and it gave me an fps increase of 20 and the increase in accuracye was drematic but i believe this was down to the fact that CA have a wide bore (i believe its 6.08mm) so basicly half a mm wider than the tightbore

Re: advice on tightbore barrels??
it should increase the accurate range, not necessarily the range by a noticable amount, quality/size of the bb is as important if not then more important than the id of the inner barrel.
for example using a 5.93 mm bb in a 6.01 TB, should in theory be worse than using a 5.99 mm in a 6.04 TB.
please note that the dimensions of the bb are to show how it can make a difference, and not necessarily an actual size of bb in production
