ics m4 electrical problem
11 December, 2011, 11:33
ok so my guns working (it wasnt before)
it was an electrical problem (connectors to motor were buggered)
now the wires are solered directly to the motor
it fires nicely when on lower half but when i put the top half on it screetched loudly after two screetches it was firing ok and no screetching since
also when i pull the trigger sometime it wont fire and the only way it will is i have to take the grip (bottom of grip) off and it'll make a little szj sound
so what was the screetching and whats the other problem
thanks

Re: ics m4 electrical problem
sounds like the motor is pushed to far up into the gears. Just unscrew the adjustment screw on the botton of the grip slowly until it firs ok, try that first.

Re: ics m4 electrical problem
anti clockwise is the way to turn the adjustment to loosen the motor height. other thing to ask is are you using a ics motor?

Re: ics m4 electrical problem
Google is your friend dude... when I replaced my first ever motor (once upon a time) I found a nice helpful vid which helped with the fitting and also had sound too...
It's difficult for people to write what you should be hearing, but it goes a little like kzzsoooopzit... it's electronic, but not screechy... it's loud and crisp, but has a shoooooping sound in the middle.... hahaha.... just watch good ole Tube of You, I'm sure you'll find what you're looking for.
