AGM M14 Anti Reversal Lever Spring

I was installing some new bits in my gearbox earlier and I have just realised that I can't find the spring for the anti reversal lever.

I'm needing the gun working for a skirmish on Sunday so ordering a replacement is out of the question. Has anyone ever made a temporary one out of a papaerclip or something? Or does anyone have any ideas on how I could make my own?
