My AimTop m4 which i bought from zero one seems to have a weird fuse thing (apparently thats what its called), i was thinking of changing the handguard to a r.i.s one but i dont think i could put it through the r.i.s to the battery box?

Pretty much every gun comes with one as standard, lol.
Whether you need one or not is a matter of opinion! :D

You can feed the battery wire through the holes in the RIS, there should be enough room for the fuse to stay in the foregrip.

If you cant make it fit you can remove the fuse as it is just a safety feature for high discharges but if you care for your batteries this is ok, i run all my ICS guns without a fuse as i had so many troubles with them blowing or the metal contacts coming loose or if i have a RIS the holder stopping you from putting it on if it is in the plastic cover like yours.
