Help with identifying this M4 Receiver
18 October, 2009, 16:27
Hey guys,
I have a receiver here that I am not 100% sure of the make, so I have taken some pics and hopefully someone can help my identify it.
I think it is a 'G&P SR16 M4 Metal Body' if that helps.
On the left hand side it reads:
- On the upper receiver - "SR-16 M5"
- On the lower receiver - "STONER RIFLE" "CAL. 5.56MM" "KM16869"
On the right hand side it reads:
- On the lower receiver - "KNIGHT'S ARMAMENT CO." "VERO BEACE, FL." "U.S.A"
Along the top where the ris-rails are, it reads "T1, T3, T5 .... T13." This is in the gaps and it only has odd numbers.
There is a possibility that the upper and lower receiver could be different makes, as to me they look like two different tones of black, as the upper seems a bit more glossy, as this could explain why I have had trouble identifying it.
thanks in advance for any help,
Taylorb

Re: Help with identifying this M4 Receiver
I forgot to add also that I am finding it extremely difficult to get the GB out of the receiver. Just thought I might tell you in case that helps you work out makes/manufacturers, by the dimensions.
*edit - have now managed to get it out and have realised why so please delete this post.
thanks

Haha
Think I have found it: G&P SR-16 M5 Metal Body
Pretty sure that's the only M5 about unless anybody can tell me otherwise.
thanks
