If you go with a 6.00mm super tight bore barrel won`t you need a tiny bit less cylinder volume to push the bb ? as well as a bore up kit, good hop seal and a nice tight airseal on everything as your not after a high fps I don`t see why the p90 box could not have got the job done ? but an A&K m249 box will be an easier job and I`d guess pretty cheap.

Oh I have some old stock top m249 parts if you fancy running the old bellow rubber system lol

650mm will work, but no amount of optimization to the seals (including barrels with smaller Inner diameters) will provide you with the same level of muzzle energy as the shorter 509, or even 550mm barrels, which makes the additional length kind of pointless.

Well it will mean he can move his barrel while shooting without bb`s smacking around and coming out sideways

How does the "bore up" thing work? I didn't think there was enough room for a bigger cylinder.
Is it just the inner bore that's bigger (thinner walls)?

the inner wall is thinner the piston head is fatter and so you get a tiny bit more volume all nozzle parts are thinner too to let the air rush out faster you don`t get loads more volume but it does make a bit of a difference in a barrel that`s over m16 length. Might mean you get away with using an m90 spring lol
