  • Im sure its been asked before! but.. mp5 questions

Hiya, just aquired a little TM PDW, its a faily oldish gun and has been pretty well used so I will be replacing the spring at least, my question is whilst I have the gun in pieces is there anything else I should replace?

I am not after a stupid Rof so just wondering what higher torque and speed motor I could use on standard TM gearbox (with metal bushings without risking stripping them

    Cheers !

Don't bother, TM pistons are rock solid, ever so slightly softer plastic that gives good stress tolerances.

You could fairly safely chuck in a G&P M120 motor or a Classic Army highspeed. Don't go for a systema magum/turbo though, they will start to eat things.

My MP5 runs Systema gear set (standard torque), G&P M120 motor, M105 spring, AB MOSFET and 8.4v battery. That gives 350fps on the dot, and fires at 22/sec.

With the V2 gearbox, I'd be more worried about the box itself snapping at the front, rather than the gears going
