SHS m14 air nozzle compatibility?

So i just bought an SHS m14 air seal nozzle and over my guarder cylinder head, it seems very tight, will this mean that the tappet plate cant return it and could i just sand the o-ring down?
Also, it seems to be a millimetre or so longer than the standard one, is this going to be an issue in feeding?

Depends, what M14 are you fitting it in? Test the force required to move the tappet plate with the old air nozzle and then with the new one, if there it doesn't require any more then it will be fine. Send me a PM if you need more info on upgrading DMRs!
