Lipo charging help needed
16 February, 2012, 21:13
I have just bought a 7.4V 1450MAH 20C+ M4 STOCK LIPO battery for my G&G combat machine raider CM16, along with a TURNIGY 800MA CHARGER, can you guys give me some information on how long i should charge, where to charge, and how long approx this battery would last during a day?
I am quite new to airsoft, so not really that knowledgeable about these kind of things, thank you in advance for any help!

Re: Lipo charging help needed
hmmm....maybe wrong but im sure the charger would only ever put 800ma into that battery, so would only just half charge it...its not a case of leaving it till its full with these chargers

Re: Lipo charging help needed
my 2200 takes about a hour to balance charge @0.9 so yours should be approx 45mins, charge it wherever you like as long as you have mains power!! how long it lasts is same as any battery, how trigger happy you are etc/etc

Re: Lipo charging help needed
Your Lipo charger is more probably smart enough to stop the charge as it will stop when the 2 cells will be balance. The charging time charge depend on how discharge is your battery and what limiting current is set.
Not too sure about the model you have but I think it use the balancing lead to charge the battery.

Re: Lipo charging help needed
Nope, that's not the value. You need a voltage checker to see just how much charge your battery has
