    Double feeding

    My g&p m16a3 double feeds, I have tried pushing the magzine up as it is in the magwell and this didn't change anything. It is also not consistant, sometimes it will double feed sometimes it wont, any ideas on what the prblem could be would be much apreciated.

      it could be a problem with the mag.
      have you tried it with a different mag

        My G&P M4 done the exact same. A friend of mine ( a gun tech ) had a look at it and said that the supplier had done a butch job of downgrading it by cutting the spring which had damaged it. As far as I know, he replaced the spring and piston.

          Ok, have tried it with a differrent mag and it is still the same, will have a look at the spring and piston

            Did he say why the spring was the problem? Was it getting stuck on something? Jamming?

                  He said that the supplier had downgraded the FPS by cutting the spring which had made the spring unwind itself and force into the piston. Sorry matey, thats all I know

                    Ok, shouldn't be that then as mine is filed and bent back so it can't do that, and it isn't the mags, so what else could it be?

                        Try looking at the loading nozzle through the magwell and firing slowly, so pulling the trigger a little so it moves, see if it moves forward all the way before firing. Had any work on the Gearbox? New gears, nozzle etc?

                          Loading nozzle being the part on the hop the bb's go up into it from the mag right?

                              I think i put a new gear in it because it stripped a piston and ate itself, but no new nozzle
