Fire selector plate? (Version 3 AK)

    Fire selector plate? (Version 3 AK)

    Just got a new gearbox made for me but didn't have a fire selector part on. Firstly, do I need to take it all apart to fit the selector or can I do it assembled? I ask this because I am stumped to why it does not work. To put it in auto you have to move the selector really far right which can't then be moved by the gear thingy. I'll upload a picture if it shows anything wrong?
