Recommend me a Hop unit please?
26 February, 2012, 00:02
Hey all,
I've got a standard G&G CM16, with the standard GR16 hop up unit,
I had a few issues last year, where she wasn't feeding properly.
I have overlooked the mag well to assure the mag is sitting perfect which it is, so I could only imagine it is the hop which is giving me trouble.
If you would have any ideas of another problem, please inform me.
Or recommend me a hop up unit.
Cheers all!

What is the feeding issue? Doe the feeding problem happen only when using full auto.
There are a number of problems which can cause bad feeding.
1)No sector gear clip
2)broken/bent tappet plate
3)loose/broken nozzle
4)cracked gearbox shell
5) broken tappet plate spring
6)bent cylinder head
7) broken hop rubber
8) over hopping..
9)mag not sitting properly
10) and the mag itself.

As i said in the post, the mag is sitting fine.
I forgot to mention it is pretty much brand new, so I would doubt it could me many of those reasons.
i've looked at the nozzle and the tappet plate etc & they are fine.
I'm 80% certain its the hop up, but I still don't know.
