Upgrading Iron Sights on Socom Gear 1911'S (24k Gold)

Hello to all

I have a lovely pair of 24K Gold Plated 1911's but.... The Iron Sights are awful to aim with. Has anybody upgraded the basic 1911a1 iron sights? I could do with make both these guns a bit more lefty friendly.


Any Ideas?

You can buy socom gear 1911's, they are gold plated, apparently only 500 were made.

You can indeed buy them. Yes I was told there was only 500, but the serial numbers go above 500.... how bizarre, also when looking at my pistols one of them is a slightly different colour. If you look in the 1911's pic thread, they are in there.

I'd like to put some better sights on them but If I can't its no big deal really... Just wondering if I can do it or not
