  • WE M.E.U, my baby is broken :(

Zero In members, can you help? The gas nozzle (bit inside the slide, just in case my terminology is wrong) has jammed and won't move a millimeter, meaning all the gas is expelled per shot. How do I fix it? Any help is appreciated :D

Sounds like you need a new blowback unit spring.

It'll be a little spring in side the blowback unit, not the recoil spring found in the slide

Can you get a picture up of the issue?

If its jammed the nozzle return spring might not be the only thing at fault.
When you say jammed, does it move forward and spring back or does it stay where it is until you move it manually.
Or is it stuck and requires force to move manually?

It's stuck, I need to jam a screwdriver into it to make it move

Could be the piston head inside the nozzle, gonna have to get the nozzle off to check the piston head. You need to take the blow back unit out of the slide to do this.

I have just had to replace the piston head on my TM Glock 26, I had the same problem, the piston head had shreded and.was caught/jamming the nozzle. Like the above poster said google is your friend do find a strip down vid.

Managed to take it all apart, gave it a good clean, and re-adjusted the blowback spring, and she's in good working order. Cheers for your help guys :D

Think I might have to do a video series on hicapa/1911 strip down and fault diagnosis. And a parts naming section.
