kwc desert eagle co2 downgrading or green gas upgrading

hi all im a recent new owner of a kwc desert eagle co2 metal slide. the problem im having is it's putting out over 400fps on co2 and .2's so way too powerful. i also have 2 green gas compatable mags but the problem is the slide dosen't cycle fully and can only get a few shots out before venting. does anybody have any ideas on how to improve the power on green gas my 1st choise or reduce the power on co2 second choise.
i have seen a thing called a npas valve made by ra tech that fits a few kwc and system 7 gbb's any ideas if thet will help or even fit.
ps im using ultra air power gas. and asg co2 capsules.
many thanks would love to use this as a side arm and not a ormament or garden plinker

update. I think i have fixed the green gas mags now the slide cycles correctly can get about 2 mags worth of bb's before refilling. Just need to chrono it now. Turns out the hammer valve spring was too weak in the mag and wasn't returning quickly enough. If anyone needs more info send me a message and gladly go into more detail.
