  • Non feeding Tanaka browning Hi Power

Just wondering if there is anyone out there got this pistol and had the same issues I am having.

Basically you put bb's in then gas it up load the pistol and fire. Gun fires as normal but no bb's feed. Then it may work later on. Also it might feed between 1-5 bbs before refusing to feed.

I have never been able to fire off a full mag without this happening. I think it may be a mag problem but I am no expert, so I was wondering if anyone knows what might be happening inside the gun

Sounds to me like the blowback chambers bb guide rod/arm isn't always picking the bb's up. You could try and make it bigger/fatter and see how that works.

Also last night i tried to fire it and got a face full of vented gas back into my face. Seems that as well as not feed in the rubber at the top of the mag blows itself loos under pressure. an armoury that's got aorsoft in it where i bought it from says all mags do this under pressure. i find that complete bollo**s since not one of any of my other mags has ever done it. I just think the Tanaka browning is such a poorly made piece of kit it should be removed from the shelves and shops should refuse to stock it till they resolve all these issues.

Its really sold as a collectors piece over something you want to play with, buy a TM if you want a pistol that keeps going.
