  • Gas Mag Lubrication

    Hi all,
I have a number of GBB guns including a USP and MP7 and I'm a little confused of gas mag seal lubrication.

I'm keen to keep the hops in my guns free from silicone oil to keep them from swelling so at the moment I use abbey brut gas. However, I'm also aware that the internal seals and orings will over time dry out.

My question is how do I keep a good balance between the internal seals staying oiled whilst keeping too much oil from wrecking the gun?

    Cheers all!!

You want to keep your seals free of mineral oil, airsoft gas already contains lubricant, shouldn't have to do much else to the mag seals- just keep the mags slightly gassed... Might pay to occasionally lube up the top seal though.

Bit of thicker oil smeared over the top of the mag seals works for me (excess wiped off so that it doesnt mess with the hop)
