Heroshark - apologies, thought you meant high flow mag valves not high flow rocket valves! You are of course correct on that one, KSC guns operate by the mag valve not being shut off until the slide starts to move backwards, so no matter how much gas goes down the barrel the same charge is delivered to the cylinder for blowback purposes (in theory)

All sorted, the spring in the blowback unit was not properly in.
