Running a hi-capa on co2
13 April, 2013, 21:06
Hi, Ive been reading about running GBBs on co2. I know that you can get a co2 magazine for hi-capas, but what do I need to upgrade internally to make sure that nothing will break, given the much higher power and pressure compared to green gas? I already have a metal slide and frame, 150% hammer and recoil springs (not sure if needed), and a 6.01mm inner barrel (not necessary I know lol). I know I will need a new BBU, and have seen an aluminium Airsoft Surgeon one for £40 but what else would I need to run my hi-capa off co2? Please help!!!

Re: Running a hi-capa on co2
I've been thinking about this aswel as I know WE do a hi cappa CO2 mag. I wouldn't have thought you would NEED a BBU, but a reinforced loading nozzle I think would be a must have, along with a new piston head.
I wouldn't think there would be too much else.

Re: Running a hi-capa on co2
As above, slightly harder recoil spring and a metal slide.
Don't use a dyna piston head as the co2 blows the seal off.
