Guide for 1911

Has anyone written a guide to help customise a TM 1911. I just need some help on what to get first and what parts need other parts to back them up so it doenst break. Im only talking about performance not looks.

Also one for g&p m4s would be great as well

TM 1911 is pretty solid and accurate gun but prolonged use of green gas will break the slide, so upgrade to metal kit.The innards from hop to sears and allmost everything is produced by aftermarket companies ( I upgraded two of mine with just the TM chassis and BBH left in them),so if anything breaks you'll have no problem finding replacement.
