we m16 open bolt, bolt problem

we m16 open bolt, bolt problem

hi guys
i have a we m16 open bolt and the bolt has started to stick back it looks like the hammer is jumping up in front of the bolt when it goes back stopping it from coming forward any ideas on what has gone wrong and what i will need to fix it. its not old only just over a year.

Possibly, the trigger sears are worn. So you may need a new trigger set, of you can't find replacement parts.

Or it could just be that you need to adjust the buffer tube.
If the hammer is popping up in front of the bolt then the bolt is traveling way too far back.
Start by screwing the buffer tube into the lower until it touches the buffer retainer, if that doesn't work then you will need to inspect and replace the buffer itself if needed,
If the buffer is fine and you screw the tube in as far as it will go and the bolt still rides over hammer then you will need spacers in the buffer tube until the problem is solved, coins usually do the trick.
But all of this shouldn't just happen, have you modified it or substantially dismantled it in any way?

cheers for that. it hasnt been striped at all just the bolt taken out for lube and put back the buffer stop is hitting the back of the bolt and pushing past will try the coin trick.
